The layout features a single island platform, located at the end of a short branch off Stirling to Alloa line, built to serve Stirling University in the late 1960s and link with existing colliery branches in the area. Services comprise hourly links with Glasgow Queen St (DMUs) and Edinburgh (loco-hauled), extended from Stirling as opposed to serving Dunblane.

Our N Gauge layout is based on the area around Fountainhall Junction on the now closed Waverley Route between Edinburgh and Carlisle.

This layout depicts a station at the end of section of single track where the track resumes a double track formation. It has a small engine shed & yard where spare stock can be stored for display purposes.

Glendevon represents an imaginary ex North British Railway branch off the Devon Valley line in Fife. The date is the 1950s, early British Railways days, just before the Beeching era.
