OO Gauge - Crawford Bridge

Train crossing the River Clyde

Crawford Bridge is a OO gauge layout based on the area around Crawford and Abington. The layout is not intended to be an exact model of the area but rather an attempt to capture the sweeping curves and changing landscapes as the West Coast Main Line weaves its way through the upper Clyde valley. The left hand side of the layout as viewed from the front is based on the area around the Crawford Viaduct which is visible to those who travel by road on the nearby M74. The right hand side of the layout was inspired by the passing loops at Abington with their winding reverse curves.
